Forms and contours are the boundaries that define my existence in the world. First, I sketch the outline and separate it with a line from a certain amorphous mass of details what is inside from what is outside. In this initial separation, I start by weeding out what you definitely are not.
Those who say, «I am searching for myself», «I am still searching for myself» - why can't they find themselves?
I can only create myself within certain boundaries.
So I draw a closed contour line and say:
«Everything outside this contour is not me».
«And everything inside this contour is me».
We do not perceive anything outside or inside ourselves as whole.
We continue to change the outline.
We try on and adopt some forms and reject others.
We play with details and strive to ensure that the doll is always changing, moving, so that it remains «alive».
This game has no promised end.
